For UX Designers the stakeholder analysis is a great tool to find out which groups are relevant to a project. These groups then can be separated based on their power and interest in the project. Depending on their scores it is possible to get an understanding with which groups the UX Designers should stay in contact with closely and which stakeholders do not need to get lots of information regularly.
